Crocheting 101

I took a crocheting class tonight at Joann.  Glad I did!  Not only did I meet an amazing yarn expert in the instructor, but I did learn the basic stitches: cast-on, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. I already have tons of crochet patterns, but I decided to start with a simple scarf.  I began the pattern, and I think I’ve gotten my stitches down…but somehow I think I’ve been increasing at the end of each row.  Oops!  Well…I got this far, but I’ll be starting over again tomorrow.  🙂  Strangely, I’ve been loom knitting longer, but it seems more likely that I can look away from the job while I’m crocheting as opposed to loom knitting.  Hmmm…

  1. Do you mind if I quote a few of your articles as long as I provide credit and sources back to your blog? My website is in the very same niche as yours and my users would definitely benefit from some of the information you present here. Please let me know if this alright with you. Cheers!
